The VMware vRealize Automation (vRA) and NSX Extensibility Kit complements the native integration of these products by supporting additional Day 0 (provisioning time) and Day 2 (post provisioning) operations. It is intended to provide a functional example of how to leverage the vRA extensibility options of Workflow Stubs and Advanced Service Designer (ASD) for consumption of additional NSX functionality.
The kit includes the following components:
- vRA NSX vRealize Orchestrator Workflow package (vra-nsx-v1.0.1.package)
- vRA Advanced Service Designer Components (vra-nsx-asd-v1.0.1.zip)
- Guest customization Linux shell script (nsx-customize.sh)
The extension package has been validated with the following software versions but is expected to work with later versions of all software components:
- NSX 6.1.4
- vRA 6.2.1
- NSX Plugin for vRA 1.0.2
