The course duration is 5 hours of eLearning and labs. Lab access is available for 14 days from the purchase date. This course offers an introduction to VMware NSX, providing a solid understanding of the fundamentals of NSX and network virtualization.
The course includes eLearning and hands-on lab activities. After you are introduced to the major features of NSX, you work through six modules of technical eLearning content. Each module provides an overview of the technologies that you use in each hands-on lab.
By the end of the course, you should be able to meet the following objectives:
- Explain and understand core NSX features
- Understand the following NSX technologies:
- Distributed logical routers
- Logical switching using VXLAN
- Load balancing - Understand use cases for each of the technologies discussed
- Understand rudimentary NSX troubleshooting concepts
- Understand how to administer VMware® NSX Services
